Line Sides Better !
The fish are starting to bunch up and are starting to eat. We have boated some really nice fish in the pass two weeks. And lost a couple that could have been new lake records. The fish are really scatter right now. We are catching fish in the backs of the creeks early ( Fisher, Worley, Harris Branch and Doll Mountain. Most of our fish are coming on shad. But as we move into December the bite will be better on small and medium tout. Umbrella rigs are really starting to work well on Carters Lake as well as Lake Allatoona. We are running the one and only Mack Farr u rigs. We are running our rigs 140 – 210 feet behind the boat. At speeds of 2.4 – 3.3 miles and hour. If throwing the net isn’t your thing  Buddy at Bart’s Bait and Tackle has plenty of trout in stock. And opens super early. Stop by and he will hook you up with great bait and even better BBQ.  Carters lake is just beautiful right now. Throw in the  bonus of the chance to catch a fish of a lifetime. Makes a fishing trip aboard the nicest guide boat on the lake a must for this fall.   The summer boat traffic is over, and with deer season being in full swing, not too many people are on the lakes. It’s just a peaceful time of the year to wet a line. Remember Christmas is just around the corner.  Give Certificate with Carters Lake Fishing Charters is now available.
